Privacy Policy
Social AI Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a service that helps businesses write, design, review, schedule and publish social media posts. Social AI Studio is operated by 2615881 Alberta Ltd., 104-4011 26 Ave NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6L 5L9, Canada. This policy explains what information we collect through https://social.mydoller.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, never in readable form.
- Business information you provide: company name, website address, phone number (optional), Google review link (optional), social media Page address, brand preferences, and answers you give in the setup chat.
- Public business information: text and images that are publicly available on the website you give us, used only to understand your business and prepare your posts.
- Content you create or upload: images you upload, post drafts, captions, edits, approvals, rejections, schedules and the reasons you give for changes.
- Help chat messages: messages you send in the in-app help chat.
- Facebook information (only if you connect a Facebook Page): see section 3.
- Technical information: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and basic security logs (such as sign-in times and actions taken in your workspace) used to protect your account and investigate problems.
2. How we use your information
- To create and run your account and workspace.
- To write captions, suggest or create images, and prepare posts that match your business.
- To let you review, edit, approve and schedule posts.
- To publish the posts you approve to the Facebook Page you connect, at the time you choose.
- To answer your questions in the help chat and provide support.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your information. We do not use your information for advertising to you or others. We do not share one client's private information with another client.
3. Facebook Page connection
If you choose to connect a Facebook Page, you sign in through Facebook's official login. We never see or store your Facebook password. With your permission, we request only these permissions:
| Permission | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| pages_show_list | To show you the list of Pages you manage, so you can choose which Page to connect. |
| pages_manage_posts | To publish the posts you have reviewed and approved to your chosen Page, at your scheduled time. |
| pages_read_engagement | To read basic information about your chosen Page. Facebook requires this permission together with the permission to publish posts to a Page. We do not read your Page's messages, comments or followers. |
The access token Facebook gives us is stored encrypted. We use Facebook data only to provide the features above for your own Page. We never post anything you have not approved, and we do not use Facebook data for advertising, profiling, or selling. Our use of information received from Meta complies with the Meta Platform Terms.
You can disconnect at any time from your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations), and you can ask us to delete your data (see section 7).
4. Service providers we use
We share information only with providers that help us run the service, and only as needed:
- Meta Platforms, to connect your Page and publish your approved posts.
- AI providers (Google Gemini and, if enabled, OpenAI), to generate captions and images from your business information and instructions. Business content is sent only to create your posts.
- Our web hosting provider, to store the service and its data securely.
These providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States. We may also disclose information if required by law.
5. How we protect your information
- Each client's data is kept separate from other clients' data.
- Passwords are hashed; Facebook access tokens are encrypted.
- To prevent misuse of the free trial, we keep a protected (hashed) record of the website address used for a trial. It is used for nothing else.
- The service uses secure HTTPS connections.
- Only authorized people can access production systems.
No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities as required by law if a breach affects you.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law. Backup copies are overwritten within a further 30 days.
If you connect Facebook and manage several Pages, the encrypted access for the Pages you do not choose is kept for up to 15 minutes and then deleted. The protected (hashed) record used to prevent repeat free trials is kept so that it can do its job; it contains no readable business information.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your business information in your workspace.
- You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
- You can disconnect your Facebook Page at any time.
- To delete your data, follow our Data Deletion Instructions.
We follow Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (https://www.priv.gc.ca).
8. Cookies
We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children
Social AI Studio is a business service and is not intended for anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date above and let account holders know.
